Google Ads management for a flooring company
A flooring account earns its keep on product terms, not trade terms. "Hardwood floor refinishing", "LVP installation", "engineered hardwood installers" and the town names behind them bring homeowners with a room and a budget. "Flooring near me" and "flooring store" bring renters, DIY shoppers and people looking for a warehouse. Clicks on the good terms run $4 to $16 in most metros and a tracked call or form lands between $35 and $120, lowest on refinishing. Local Services Ads add a per-lead channel at $25 to $80 that leans on review count, and only 9.9% of flooring companies have passed 100 reviews.
The mistake most owners make is one broad-match campaign running around the clock, every click sent to the home page, no call tracking. That buys "flooring installer jobs" and nobody finds out.
Two weeks in, working looks like 10 to 20 tracked calls, a pruned search terms report, a cost per lead you can say out loud, and a booked measure traceable to a keyword. The Google Ads guide has the negative list.
